Bobby Brown Today Show Interview (Videos)

On the Today show Bobby Brown sat down and had quite the interesting interview with Matt Lauer. The singer dished on all sorts of good stuff you are going to want to hear about. In the two part interview Bobby chatted with Matt about some very personal topics such as his life with Whitney Houston, their daughter Bobbi Kristina and his recent DUI. The first part of the interview aired on Wednesday with Brown revealing that it was Houston who got him hooked on drugs. He also talked about his deep love for her as well as how their reality show made them see just how out of control their lives were. Although they were divorced Bobby professed his love for Whitney. I have to say it was very touching and I don?t think it was fake or that he was just putting on a show. I really believe he loved her. You can see a clip from that part of the interview below. Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy Today Lauers?s interview with Brown continued and the focus was Bobbi Kristina and his DUI. Justin Bieber will show off an even swaggier side of himself tonight when he premieres his "Boyfriend" video on MTV. Before the premiere, Bieber gave fans a sneak peek of the sunny party clip.

The teaser features Bieber snuggling with a very pretty young lady, surrounded by muscle cars and his pals. It was that straightforward concept that intrigued the pop star and his team.

"It was just cars and the simplicity that they liked. Cars, girls, just young people hanging out, having fun, that kind of thing. When I heard it, I thought that's what it should be," Director X, who helmed the clip, told MTV News. "From what they wanted to do with Justin and the song and who he is and his age now, I thought that was it. They should expect the Justin they know, just a little more grown-up."

While he had never worked with the singer before, he admits that, like everyone else in the world, he was fully aware of who Bieber is. "I've seen him. I mean, he's Justin Bieber. There's no way you don't know who the kid is, but I've never worked with him before or met him before. So my exposure to him is the way any other TV watcher, Internet watcher would know him," he said, adding that he left the April video shoot a fan. "He's a good kid. He comes to work, gets the job done, dedicated to the gig. I mean, I like him."

Want more behind-the-scenes scoop from Bieber himself? The singer will sit down with MTV News' Sway Calloway tonight to premiere his "Boyfriend" music video during "MTV First: Justin Bieber" live at 7:50 p.m. ET on MTV. After the video premieres on air, Bieber will chat with Sway for 30 minutes on MTV.com, opening up about the clip as well as his June 19 album release, Believe. But that's not all: If you have a burning question for Bieber, you can get in on the fun by commenting below or tweeting @MTVNews with the hashtag #MTVFirst or #AskBieber.

Immediately following the premiere, the "Boyfriend" video will be available on MTV.com, so Beliebers can watch it over and over and over again.

Don't miss the "Boyfriend" video premiere tonight at 7:50 p.m. ET/PT on MTV during "MTV First: Justin Bieber," followed by a live Q&A with Justin himself on MTV.com!

MasterCard gives PayPass blessings to HTC One X, 16 other NFC phones

ImageMasterCard is widening the universe of phones that officially support PayPass in a big way, with a new MasterCard PayPass Ready program certifying that devices with NFC will play nicely with its mobile payment system. A total of 17 phones are part of the first wave getting the official A-OK. Some of these are known quantities already using PayPass, like the LG Viper 4G LTE and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus HSPA+, but others are new to the PayPass ways. Among the picks are the HTC One X, Intel's smartphone reference device and the Nokia Lumia 610 NFC. A raft of BlackBerrys and lower-end Samsung Galaxy phones are likewise in the fray. While only a handful of these might ever work with Google Wallet or other US-focused NFC payment methods, you can check out the full roster in the release after the break.

Apple v. Samsung judge yells 'get to the point, you two'

ImageJudge Lucy Koh, presiding over the courtroom battle 'twixt Apple and Samsung has ordered that both companies slim down the bundle of litigation so its easy for juries to understand. The docket currently contains 16 patent violations, six trademark issues, five "trade dress" claims and an antitrust matter -- which her Honor Judge Koh described as a "cruel and unusual punishment" for a jury. If both companies can't get over a table and produce a Cliffs Notes edition of their global patent battle, then she'll postpone the trial date until 2013.

Nikon D3200 now shipping from Best Buy, unboxing video gets personal with new features

Image

Nikon promised us a "late April" shipment of its D3100 replacement, and sure enough, it looks to have met that self-imposed deadline. The black D3200 kit is now shipping from Best Buy warehouses, and while a litany of other reputable e-tailers have the unit listed (check our links below), we're seeing it backordered elsewhere. That said, these things are obviously trickling into the places that matter most, and determined to-be buyers can almost certainly call around to find one in stock. If you're still on the fence, have a look at our hands-on here, and head on past the break for a lovely unboxing video tour.
