If you are going to move voluminous then it is advantageous to get a quote on weight basis, and if it is going to be low volume moving, then ask the mover for quote on volume basis. But don?t expect them to be na?ve. Their quotes are often based on weight as well as volume, but you can expect some discount if you are more knowledgeable about what you are asking for. Get your belongings insured before the actual transporting takes place, if the truck company won?t do it or expects you take the burden. It always pays to know that beforehand.
