How to make sure your 3Gs is compatible with iPad baseband

Apple fixed 3Gs 8GB iPhone made after week 28 of 2011, some people new to the jailbreak scene have made the mistake of not checking to see if they're iPhone is compatible with the iPad baseband and now have very nice paper weights.

A disregard of this warning causes

• No WiFi
• No ICID
• No IMEI
• No Bluetooth

Example: Serial XXX109XXX may not be compatible with iPad baseband.

• XX109XX 1 = Is 2011 and 09 is week 9 or 1 year.

Here is a website that will check your iPhone's serial number for you and tell you the production date.
