(WMC-TV) - Hours before their fans welcomed them to Memphis, The Flaming Lips were getting a warm reception from the city's mayor.
Memphis Mayor A C Wharton posted a message on his Facebook page welcoming the band to the Bluff City as it attempts to set a world record for playing the most concerts in a 24 hour period.
The performances are part of the O Awards, which you can watch online by clicking here.
